Thanks Militant, Joined in the affiliate game in december. Initial program I joined said sign up with all of the adnetworks including ebay. Of course, was not approved. Then got Gregs Wp mage stuff and he loves ebay. Haven’t tried to reapply, perhaps for the better, sounds like ebay is not the way to go.

First you must apply to Chitika and have the domain approved. After that, I suggest you install a WP plugin called “WhyDoWork Adsense.” Simply enter the Chitika code into the plugin instead of the standard AdSense code and you’re good to go.

HI TMA,

I’m a MAGE user and have been booted from ebay as well as adsense, not for something I did,but for lack of doing anything with there service.

I plan on changing that now that I have MAGE. My question can I direct people to Chitika instead of adsence and if possible how exactly.

Hey there TMA!

So I just added this deal to my article posts and have to tell you that I’m hopefully about it. I use to have 8 ebay listings after each post and have gotten hundreds of clicks that have gone unconverted. I’m hopeful that this will work for me. I’m curious however, how do I get the full border around the whole thing? you can visit my site and let me know what you think. I’ll email you the link.

Using phpBay Pro in your mage templates makes it easy to add Adsense Ads directly above your eBay listings. Simply edit your phpBay display form template found in the “…/plugins/phpbay/forms/” folder. The name of the file you want to add the AdSense code too is “form.page.header.php.” Add another table row above the original one to put your AdSense code in.

This is a super idea! After only three weeks my adsense income is up so much I don’t even care if anyone clicks my bloody ten-cent a piece ebay listings anymore.

Hey, I found this in the Mage forums and I must say, it does seem to work. I used this on a few of my sites yesterday and I have seen an increase in my Adsense clicks. The only problem that I am having is that when I use this using WhydoWork it doesn’t play nice with an adsense 160X600 ad that I have setup in the sidebar using a TEXT widget. The sidebar ad won’t display. Any ideas why or what I should do to fix this. Thanks!

I just had my EPN site expired and was told that I violated some rules, but they never told me which ones. I have over 6K in commissions due to me. Any suggestions as to what type of recourse we may have?

If you’re using a third-party script like phpBay Pro to display eBay listings, the ePN impression code is not automatically included. You can add it by generating it in your ePN Dasboard tools and copying it to your phpBay header template. Personally, I don’t use it. I don’t believe in giving ePN any more information than is absolutely necessary. My own server logs tell me everything I need to know.
